Lebron James is a beast! This years playoffs have been the most entertaining in a long time indeed, and last nights game winning shot by Lebron was nothing short of spectacular! Of course because they blew a 23 point lead they should never have been in that situation to begin with…. but thats exactly the kind of playoffs its been this year. Thats why I love this years NBA motto…. “Where will amazing happen this year?” We  are all witnesses to greatness King James!

“According to official April figures released by the NPD Group, the Playstation 3 found itself beaten out for fifth place by an unusual competitor: its predecessor, the Playstation 2.

A 50% leap in Playstation 2 sales accounts for the surprising change, an increase likely prompted by the system’s price cut on April 1, a move which apparently electrified interest in the nine-year old platform.

The PS2’s success was probably the only nugget of April sales news to put smiles on the faces of Sony execs. Nintendo platforms continued their lockdown of the top spots, with the Wii coming second and the DS coming both first and third, courtesy of the just-launched DSi: the DS’s two hardware variations accounted for an astonishing million sales during April.Meanwhile, the Xbox 360 was down slightly over last April, but still managed a solid fourth place and remains on course for a record-breaking year.

But both the Playstation 3 and PSP posted disappointing results, with the PS3 placing sixth with its worst performance in over 18 months, and the PSP limping in seventh with a total of 116,000 sales — down over 30% on March’s numbers.

The news has revitalized persistent rumors of price cuts for Sony’s PS3. The system’s base model is between $150 and $200 more expensive than its competitors, the Wii and Xbox 360. Industry news site Gamasutra predicts we’ll see a $100 cut in the $400 Playstation 3 announced at the E3 video games trade show in Los Angeles in early June.

So if you’re contemplating taking the Playstation plunge — and with top exclusive superhero thriller Infamous just a week away, we’re betting some of you are — you might well want to hold off and wait to see what June has in store.”

The NBA playoffs this season has been one of the most exciting in almost the last 5-6 years that I can remember.  The Celtics are going the distance again to game 7 this time against the Orlando Magic, and the Lakers and Rockets will also be playing a game 7 tomorrow.

Since my Utah Jazz are long gone, and the Phoenix Suns sucked ass this year I’ve decided to jump onto the Cleveland bandwagon this year. I really do enjoy watching LeBron James play and think he’s the most deserving of a title this year. So what are my predictions for tomorrow’s games?  I believe Celtics and Lakers will win it so we’ll end up with a Denver vs Laker series which should be very good, and a Cavalier vs Celtics matchup.  God I love this time of the year! =P

UPDATE: Well I knew the Laker’s were gonna beat the Rockets, but the Magic beating the Celtics was a surprise. I think the Magic would actually give Cleveland more of a hard time than the Celtics. Both of these next series should be good!

UGH! I woke up at 6:25 this morning just in time to see my poor stocks taking a beating. It hasn’t even been an hour since the market opened but I’m already in the hole $350 bucks for the day. I have a goal of turning $5000 of stocks into $50,0000 in 3 months… but with days like this it probably sounds madness to most people right?

Well tell that to this guy: http://www.stockmister.com   This guy is my inspiration right now. He’s a 25 years old amateur trader, and turned $50,000 into over $1,000,000 in just under the last 3 months by day trading stocks.  Even after reaching his goal of $1,000,000 last Friday, he donated much of his earnings to charities, and started over with $11,000 to help others reach their goals as well. If your interested in making money with stocks I highly recommend following his daily blog of what he buys, as he doesn’t have very many down days.

I’ve decided to just redo my blog completely….(yes again) and hopefully this will be the last time. Instead of just games, my blog will be about whatever I feel like posting… anything from Stocks/Money to NBA basketball, to things that make me LOL, and yes of course Video games.  Hopefully I’ll remember to keep this thing updated lol! =)
